We understand the unique challenges for every stage in life. Our goal is to provide age-appropriate activities and teaching that will help you grow closer to Christ in whatever life circumstances you find yourself.

  • Adults

Our adult ministries include Adult Discipleship Hour, 50 & Up events, Bible Studies, Book Studies, Men's Events, Women's Events, White Cross (Sewing), backyard barbecues, and other informal fellowship opportunities.

  • Kids

Our children's ministry includes Nursery, Sunday School, Children's Church (up to age 8), and a Wednesday night kids program called AWANA.

The safety and security of your children is our priority. All of our staff and volunteers who minister to minors go through an application process which includes interviews, reference checks, and background checks.

Additionally, in order to participate in the Children's Ministry on Sundays, children must be checked in at the Children's Ministry Check-In Center located in the lobby. Each child will receive a name badge and security code that matches a security code given to the person checking the child in, thereby ensuring the correct person picks the child up from their classroom. Our Wednesday Night Children's Program (Awana) also has a check in process.

AWANA Club meets every Wednesday, Sept. through April*

    • Cubbies (3 & 4 year olds) & Sparks (K-2nd Grade): 6:15 - 8:00 PM
    • Truth & Training (3rd-6th Grades): 6:15 PM - 8:15 PM
*There is no Awana on Wednesday, March 27th for Verona Area School's Spring Break.
*May 1st will be Award Night.

  • Teens

Our teen ministry includes a specific Sunday School class, Bible Studies, and occasional social activities (including Winter, Summer, and Fall camp retreats).

  • Community

Our opportunities to serve the Verona community include an annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner, Nursing Home Ministries, gathering materials and serving at the Badger Prairie Needs Network, as well as serving the neighborhoods in which our church members live as needs arise.

Opportunities to serve

As members of the body of Christ, we minister to one another through the varied gifts which God has given us (1 Peter 4:10). Staff and volunteer leaders can help match your gifts to ministry opportunities/needs in the church body. Here are a few ways you can get involved here at MBC.

  • Worship

Our musicians serve the congregation by leading in songs that are Christ-centered and God-honoring. They know that the goal in leading the congregation in worship through singing is that God would be glorified.

  • Audio/visual

Our A/V team serves the church behind the scenes, performing tasks such as managing lyric/sermon presentations, mixing the music, and recording the audio and video of our services.

  • Greeters

Our greeters are instrumental in displaying God's hospitality. They serve by greeting, directing, giving information, and praying for our visitors and guests.

  • Children's ministry

Our Children's Ministry workers have opportunity to serve MBC through the nursery, sunday school, children's church, and Awana.
